This place has THE BEST CHAI LATTES EVER!
I always get a vanilla chai latte with soy milk and a CTA on an everything bagel. Such a cute family owned business!

Got their special, which is just your classic bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes, avo and sprinkled with lemon pepper. Came here after a heavy weekend of partying and this unexpectedly hit the spot.
You would not expect this somewhat hole-in-the-wall coffee shop to serve such good food, but it does, and while I was there the line actually went out the door for a bit. (It is a smaller shop, but still).
Plus, they have a cool name. -

I've been coming here for years & I love it! It's owned and run by a a very friendly & hard working family. I moved out of the immediate area but still make the trip when I crave their Al Cap Special & Almond Power Smoothie. Their fresh OJ, Cappuccino & Iced Coffee is fantastic too.

I love this place and used to come here several times a week. The al cap special on everything bagel with a large iced coffee with the coffee ice cubes is heaven when you bring it to the beach on a hungover morning. Lee and his family run this place with love and care and are so kind to their customers. He even gave me free clif bars once because they were expiring soon. Support your local coffee shop and say no to Starbucks corporate greed

When I'm in Newport Beach "Aye aye, Al Cap".
I use to work nearby and my routine is to come in here on those early mornings to start my day. Even now when I'm no longer working close by, I would still come in on occasion to order my smoothie drink or pastry favorites at Al Cappuccino.
The "Al Cap Special" is definitely the popular choice. At $5 its toasted sesame bagel topped with avocados, a layer of cream cheese and sliced tomatoes. Then you have the zesty flavor of lemon pepper. Once you bite into this you'll remember the four "C's" crunchy, chewy, creamy, and cracked peppercorn, this combination equals deliciousness.
When I think of a thick protein, nutritional beverage, I get that here in the "Almond Butter Power" ($7.50). This smoothie is in its large size. Within the blend of creaminess you can taste its nutty textures and flavor. Since it's a protein source, this drink can be a meal itself, it tastes really good.
Service is great. There are frequent customers who come here and Lee the owner would meet and greet the locals. It's like a comfort coffeehouse for many and for tourist as well. Spacing inside is small, there are some tables and a round of chairs, but don't let that discourage you. Once you get a hold of their coffee and breakfast those feel good mornings begin.
Al Cappuccino also offer espressos, ice blends, coffee over ice, açaí drinks, and breakfast sandwiches. Ensure not to miss out, they're open until early afternoons.
